VERSE:

Colossians 1:13-14

13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

Forgiveness - Rescued from darkness


This verse reminds us that is was through Jesus Christ that our freedom was purchased, and that our sins were forgiven. It also reminds us that this freedom has "...rescued us from the kingdom of darkness...and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son...". We are no longer bound by the chains of sin...and are no longer a prisoner of the forces of evil...in this world or the next.
