Psalm 136
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever.
LESSON:
God loves us so much that he sent his Son into the world to mend the broken relationship with us in a way that only God could do. As we look forward this Advent season to celebrating the coming of Christ into the world, we need realize that God gave us the gift of his Son...because he loves us so much. This verse calls us to "...Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good...". It also gives us something to remember each and every day. "...His love endures forever...".
