VERSE:
Joshua 24:15
15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
LESSON:
Whether we want to admit it or not...we are surrounded by many Gods. It could be that we put money first, or other material possessions, or what we want to do in life, or collectables, or music, or sports, music, movie or TV heroes. You name it, there are thousands of things that we can put before God. In this verse...the writer tells us that each of us must make up our own minds of who (or what) we will worship...and whom (or what) we will serve in this life. It is my prayer that you can truthfully and forcefully say "...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD..."
