VERSE:
1 Peter 2:9
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
LESSON:
In this verse, we are told that, as Christians, you are special. How so, do you ask? You are special as you "...may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into this wonderful light...". Who may that be? J-E-S-U-S!. You have been designated as "...a chosen people...", "...a royal priesthood", and "...a holy nation...". You are "...God's special possession...". Don't let anyone in life tell you anything different.
