VERSE:
john 1:14
14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
LESSON:
In this New Testament verse, John tells us that Jesus was originally "The Word" that was with God from the beginning. The important point that he is making is that through Gods love for us...he transformed what was invisible into something visible that humans could experience. God's only Son. What was the nature of this "Holy Creation"? "...full of unfailing love and faithfulness...". As we await the coming of Christ this Advent...let us look carefully for "...his glory...".
