VERSE:
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (New International Version)
14 For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
LESSON:
What should our response be to Jesus dying on the cross for us?
This verse reminds us the Jesus died for us (us individually and all of us together). How should we respond to such love? This verse suggests "...that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again...". We are called to live our lives...as thought we are living it for Jesus. Thus the phrase..."What would Jesus Do?"
