VERSE:
Proverbs 20:1
1 Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.
LESSON:
You would be surprised to learn about all of the good advice that you can find in the Bible. You just need to look for it. There are two ways to learn about the good and bad things in life, learning the hard way on your own, or learning from the wise experiences of others. This verse warns us that many people choose the unwise path of allowing wine and beer to be their entertainment...only to find that they are "...led astray by them...". What does this verse say about that type of person? "...not wise...". So, the next time someone asks you..."Hey, you want a Beer"? You may want to think about it and ask yourself...should I make a "wise" choice?
