VERSE:
Micah 6:8
8 But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don't take yourself too seriously—
take God seriously.
LESSON:
If you read the Bible, it will quickly become clear to you what God expects (wants) from each of us. This verse summarizes some of those traits very clearly. We are to 1) be fair and just. 2) be compassionate, 3) be loyal in love, 4) Don't take yourself very seriously...but take God very seriously.
