VERSE:
Romans 8:28 (New International Version)
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose.
LESSON:
Does God have a purpose for us through our lives? (Part 1) This verse tells us that "...in all things God works for the good of those who love him..." It is telling us that if we love God...he has good plans for us no matter what things happen to us as we go through life. It does clarify that we must be living our lives "...called according to his purpose...". In other words...if you are trying to live your life the way God has called you to live it...God will work all things for good in your life. The key words in this verse are "...his purpose...". Yes, God has a purpose in life for each of us. It is our challenge in life...to discover it.
