VERSE:
Psalm 34:14-16 (New International Version)
14 Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their cry;
16 the face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
LESSON:
What is God's position on evil verse good (righteousness)? This verse tells us that "...The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous..., but that "...the face of the LORD is against those who do evil..." It encourages us all to "...Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it..." God therefore is for righteousness...and against all evil. We are called to turn from evil, in any form which it presents itself, and to seek peace and to do good.
