VERSE:
Colossians 3:23-24 (New International Version)
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
LESSON:
Is it Work, or is it service? We all have work to do in life. Going to school, chores around the house, earning a living. We call all of these things "Work". This verse tells us that we should take another look at what we call "Work" and consider that we are actually "serving" the Lord when we work. When your work is tiring you out, remember that you are actually "serving" the Lord when you do the best that you can do...when you "work".
